Science Week – Exploring bubbles

We continued to explore the different forces involved when moving bubbles through the air. We used the ‘bubble wafting’ technique to push the bubbles with competition from the wind force. We discussed how gravity pulls the bubbles to the ground.

Cheese straws – Science Week

Investigating forces

As part of our Science topic ‘Pushes and Pulls’ Year One have been investigating how to move different objects without touching them. We have learnt that you can move objects and make them change direction by using your breathe to push them along with air (as long as they are light enough).
