Science – Trees

On Friday afternoon, Year One did a long walk around the grounds of our school to study the variety of trees we have growing. We took bark rubbings and labelled the names of the trees. Can you remember the names of the different trees we discovered? Some of us even tried tree-hugging!  


Science Investigation: Properties of materials

This week the Owls and Kites have been investigating the properties of different materials. We enjoyed using magnets to test a range of materials including wood, plastic, metal, fabric and glass.
